Bronx right fielder Ángel García had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 12-5, to Pasadena at Bronx Ballpark. García was 2 for 4 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Pasadena now owns a record of 33-29.

Chong-Duy Ong helped out the Pasadena cause in the top of the eighth inning with a bases-clearing double. For the game, the pinch hitter went 1-2 with a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Pasadena manager Hervé Barthélémy.
