Titans Continue Skid Thanks to Miners, Bumblebees
Lachlan Miners was instrumental in his team's 13-4 triumph over the Chicago Titans. The third baseman was 3 for 5 with a home run, a triple, and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 5 for the Pasadena Bumblebees. Hidetada Abe earned the win for Pasadena. He lasted 5.1 innings, allowing 4 earned runs on 6 hits, while striking out 6. With the win, he raised his record to 7-3. Chicago's current losing streak has reached 4 games.

Miners had a game-changing triple in the top of the sixth. On a 0-1 fastball from Pancho Cortéz, he banged a bases-clearing triple to left-center, giving the Bumblebees a 6-3 lead. It was the 3rd triple of the year for Miners.
