Detroit turned a good effort from starter Giobbe Tadiotto into a win over the Pasadena Bumblebees at The Hole. The final score was 3-1. Lorenzo Ortega picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-1. Ji Sheng was tagged with the loss. Detroit goes to 38-19. The win puts them 4 games up in their division.
Detroit took the lead in the top of the seventh. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Valentín Velasco stroked a 2-run double to make it 3-1, Death Stars.
