The Las Vegas Gamblers topped the Brooklyn Black Knights, 7-5, with catcher Sean Brooks playing a big role. Brooks went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles for the Gamblers in the win. The winner was Theodore Foster, who threw 116 pitches over 7 innings. The right-hander was charged with 4 runs on 8 hits. Bernalldo Rocchi was credited with the save for Las Vegas, his 3rd of the season.

Las Vegas grabbed control in the bottom of the seventh. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Dave Moore delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 5-4 in favor of the Gamblers.

"They played a better game than we did," said Brooklyn skipper Diego Aguirre.

The Black Knights fall to 10-16 and continue their uneven start to the 2028 season.
