Astoria Argonauts starter Ricardo Castros kept the Minneapolis Freeze hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 7-2 win. Castros, now 3-3, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 2, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run. At 28-23, the Argonauts find themselves in second place in the Blake Camden League B.J. Birdie League.

Tetsuo Chikuda played a key role in the win for the Argonauts. The center fielder punched a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning. For the game, Chikuda was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
