Bronx left fielder Andrew Switzer picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Philadelphia Freedom, 4-3. Bronx reliever Albert Giles picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Pedro Lugo absorbed the loss. Juan Manuel earned the save, his 10th, for the Bombers.

Switzer had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth to put Bronx in front, 4-3. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run single.

"We've got guys willing to do what it takes to win," Switzer told the Bronx Bulletin.

Bronx's record now stands at 19-24, placing them 5th in the Blake Camden League B.J. Birdie League.
