Raptors Suffer 6-2 Setback
|
Vancouver turned a good effort from starter Aaron Dilnot into a win over the Omaha Raptors at Stanley Park. The final score was 6-2. Vancouver is now 26-18, while Omaha is 19-25.
Nicanor Peracha, not known for his power, had a big at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth. That's when he connected on a fastball from Esteban Torres for a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put Vancouver in front, 5-2.
"Aaron was throwing free and easy," said Vancouver manager John Harrison.
