The Billings Mustangs cruised to a 16-4 win over the Antioch Coal Miners at The Coal Mine today. Dolf Versluis led the way, going 3-for-5 for Billings. Billings reliever Akihiro Hamada picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Garry Strode shouldered the loss. The first-place Mustangs improved to 24-19.

In the top of the second inning, Billings got a break when Versluis went to the plate. With one out, a runner on 1st and the Mustangs leading 2-1, Versluis hit a 2-run home run.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Versluis told the Billings Citizen. "It's as simple as that."
