Cuny Stars for Freeze in 7-5 Win
|
A 4-RBI performance from center fielder Éric Cuny, who is tied for 10th in the BCL in triples with 2, led the Minneapolis Freeze to a 7-5 win over the Peoria Caterpillars. Earning his 2nd save for Minneapolis was Tai Quian. The Freeze sit in 5th place in the Blake Camden League Youppi Division with a record of 22-20.
Cuny contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the sixth. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It was one of the critical at-bats that helped Minneapolis get the win.
"It wasn't our best performance," said Cuny, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
