Bronx Bombers starter Al Bates pitched a strong game against the Omaha Raptors at Anchorage Municipal Stadium, leading the Bombers to a 13-5 win. Bronx is now 18-23. Omaha is 18-23.

In the top of the third, Andrew Switzer hit a run-scoring single for Bronx. The 14th hit of the season for the Bronx left fielder put the Bombers on top, 1-0.
