Caterpillars Come Up Short at Pasadena
|
In a tight game between the Pasadena Bumblebees and the Peoria Caterpillars, pitcher Barend Bilderbeek was terrific on the mound. The Pasadena right-hander was named the player of the game in Pasadena's 2-1 win. Pasadena's record now stands at 22-18, placing them third in the Blake Camden League Youppi Division.
Pedro Pérez drew 1 walk for Pasadena. In the bottom of the fourth, with the teams deadlocked, 0-0, Pérez delivered for the Bumblebees. His run-scoring ground out put Pasadena on top, 1-0.
