Benefiting from the performance of Twomey Eade, the Billings Mustangs defeated the Vancouver Canadians, 6-4. Eade was 3 for 4 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Mustangs. Amayas Nyamu got the win, improving to 4-1. He worked 7.1 innings, giving up 4 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2. Billings, at 21-18, occupies second place in the Blake Camden League B.J. Birdie League.
Mendel Israel chipped in for Billings, stroking a crucial 2-run home run in the bottom of the first inning. For the game, the catcher went 1-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
