Mustangs Come Back Late to Top Raptors
|
The Billings Mustangs racked up a win at Anchorage Municipal Stadium, bumping off the Omaha Raptors, 4-3. Barnabé Bacm, who started for Billings, pitched effectively for his team. Ramón Gonzáles got the save, the 1st for him this season. The Mustangs now own a record of 19-17.
Way-ming Wang had the most critical at-bat for Billings. With no one in the top of the ninth inning, Wang hit a 1-2 fastball from Jason Engel for a run-scoring single. It put Billings in front, 4-3.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Wang said.
