The Philadelphia Freedom topped the Reno Raiders, 7-3, with shortstop Liann-wei Cai playing a big role. Cai went 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Freedom in the win. The win puts the Freedom at 17-19, while the Raiders drop to 16-20.

One important at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the seventh inning. Facing Reno hurler Orinosuke Matsuoka, Hayden Bentley hit a single. The Freedom went on to win.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Cai. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
