Riding the 3-hit performance of the 23-year old right fielder Terry Pulh Jr., the Astoria Argonauts stopped the Bronx Bombers, 5-2. Ricardo Castros picked up the win, improving his season record to 2-2. He struck out 8 in 5 innings. Harsha Majoo was called on to finish, recording his 4th save.

Astoria grabbed the momentum in the top of the sixth, when Pulh Jr. hit a run-scoring single. His 22nd hit of the season put the Argonauts out in front, 3-2.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Pulh Jr. said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

With the win, Astoria elevates its record to 18-13.
