Foucher Goes Wild, But Death Stars Win
Antioch left fielder Noam Foucher had a terrific game. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 times and drove in 5, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Detroit beat the Coal Miners, 14-8. Foucher was named the player of the game despite the loss. The Death Stars, now 23-8, have played some good baseball in the early going.

Making an impact for the home team was Larry Strafford. In the bottom of the third, the 35-year old designated hitter had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 8-7, Death Stars.

"This is truly a great team to play with," Strafford said after the game. "We're like brothers, and when we come together to pull out the win, that just makes it all the better."
