Eida Lifts Bumblebees to 5-2 Triumph
Riding the 2-hit performance of the 24-year old right fielder Tokuma Eida, the Pasadena Bumblebees stopped the Billings Mustangs, 5-2. Hidetada Abe got credit for the win, improving to 2-2. He allowed 2 runs on 7 hits in 8 innings. Hulusi Mumcu closed it out for his 1st save.

Eida had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a run-scoring double. The Bumblebees went on to win.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Pasadena Bumblebees manager Eric Walker.

The Mustangs drop to 14-14 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2028 season.
