Raptors first baseman Tokaji Sato put his stamp on his team's 6-3 win over the Detroit Death Stars. Sato was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Omaha in the contest. Picking up the save was Jason Engel, his 7th. Losses have been rare for the Death Stars, who are now 19-8.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the sixth, with the game tied, Masaharu Higashi was at the plate when Omaha scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Raptors to go in front, 4-3.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling pretty confident after that win," said Higashi.
