Mustangs Bang Out 7-1 Win Versus Chicago
|
The Billings Mustangs picked up a win at Cobb Field, knocking off the Chicago Titans, 7-1. Starting pitcher Barnabé Bacm was an essential part of his team's success. Bacm picked up the win for Billings, going 7.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 3-1. The Titans fall to 9-18 and continue their lackluster start to the 2028 season.
Billings took the lead in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Tim Dillman stroked a 2-run double to make it 3-1, Mustangs.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Chicago manager Chris Carpenter.
