In a high-scoring contest between Philadelphia and Omaha, first baseman Anujestha Puri was a difference-maker. Puri, who is tied for 2nd in the BCL in hits with 33, earned player of the game honors in the 10-8 Philadelphia win. He went 3 for 5 with 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Picking up the save was Florent Fontaine, his 3rd. With the loss, Omaha falls to 8-15.

Hayden Bentley in the bottom of the third had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 3rd and the Freedom trailing 3-2, the Philadelphia second baseman hit a sacrifice fly.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Bentley told the Philadelphia Daily. "It's as simple as that."
