The Detroit Death Stars got a stellar effort from pitcher Kyoji Mizutani, helping Detroit score a 4-1 win over the visiting Billings Mustangs. Carl Pollard, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 10th save. The Death Stars, now 18-6, have hit the ground running this season.

With runners on 1st and 2nd and two out in the bottom of the second inning, center fielder Hoffman Faust delivered big for the Death Stars. Detroit was leading 1-0 when he belted a 3-run home run.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Detroit skipper Mitchell Drover.
