Death Stars Win, Giap drives in 5 runs
Bay Giap was the difference-maker for the Detroit Death Stars in what turned into a shootout with the Billings Mustangs. Giap earned the player of the game award after going 2-for-4 in the 19-9 Death Stars win. The Death Stars, now 17-6, have played some good baseball in the early going.

Bo Bing had a big 2-run single for the Death Stars in the bottom of the second inning. With Detroit leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a slider from Jamie Heaman and stroked the single to center. It was his 28th hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Death Stars ahead, 3-0.

"It was one of those games where both teams were swinging the bat well," Giap said.
