Billings beat Detroit at The Death Star, eking out a 3-2 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Barnabé Bacm, who earned player of the game honors. With the win, Billings elevates its record to 11-11.

It could have been a different outcome for Billings, had it not been for Xing-peng Ran, the former first round draft pick . Ran contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the seventh inning to put Billings up, 2-0.

"I had pretty good command out there," said Bacm.
