Stogies Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Gamblers
Fans at The Ballpark at Potomac Yard were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Las Vegas Gamblers take on the Havana Stogies.

The Havana Stogies defeated the Las Vegas Gamblers, 13-5, in Roberto Clemente League action at The Ballpark at Potomac Yard . Tim Cummings received player of the game honors. The 8-year veteran went 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The Gamblers drop to 11-12 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2028 season.

Havana grabbed control in the top of the seventh. With two out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Carl Harris delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 6-5 in favor of the Stogies.

Cummings said afterward that he was glad to help his team win.
