The Billings Mustangs used an offensive barrage to beat the Philadelphia Freedom, 10-1, at Cobb Field. Satoshi Kuhabara led the way, going 3-for-5 for Billings. The Freedom drop to 9-11 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2028 season.

Early in the game, center fielder Dolf Versluis had a run-scoring triple for Billings. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Mustangs on top, 1-0.

"The Mustangs definitely had our number," said Philadelphia manager Dan Jones.
