Philadelphia right-hander Pedro Lugo pitched his team to victory over the Pasadena Bumblebees at The Hole. The final score was 4-1. Earning his 2nd save of the year was Sixto Ríos.
Júlio Ruíz was 2 for 4 with a triple and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 against the Bumblebees. In the top of the first inning, he hit a 2-run triple, putting Philadelphia in front, 2-0.
Lugo told a Philadelphia Daily reporter that he was "very satisfied" with the win.
The loss drops Pasadena to 8-7.
