The Omaha Raptors got a magnificent effort from pitcher Lewis Portsmouth, who kept Reno hitters in check en route to a 2-1 Raptors win at House of Pain. Omaha is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 4th win in 13 games.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and one out in the top of the seventh inning. That's when pinch hitter Bob O'Moriartie hit a single. The Raptors went on to win.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Reno manager Alex Hensley said following the tough loss.
