The Minneapolis Freeze wiggled past the Joplin Fireballs, 4-3, at The Ice Box. Minneapolis pitcher Rintaro Shinoda earned player of the game honors. Minneapolis reliever Ronaldo Pérez got the win, raising his record to 3-1. Oliver Cervantes was tagged with the loss. The loss drops Joplin to 6-7.

Minneapolis took a 4-3 lead on Dharmamandhu Subhangi's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run came off Joplin pitcher Oliver Cervantes in the bottom of the 12th.

"The game of baseball will test you," said Fernando Vargas, the Minneapolis skipper. "This one tested us."
