Bagadion slugs 2 home runs to Power Caterpillars Offense
|
The Peoria Caterpillars powered past the Omaha Raptors, 9-5, at Anchorage Municipal Stadium. Amador Bagadion hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4, to lead the charge. The Raptors, at 3-9, have stumbled out of the gate.
Bagadion had a big at-bat with two out in the top of the third inning. With his team down, 2-0, the designated hitter hit a 3-run home run to put Peoria ahead.
"They played a better game than we did," said Omaha skipper António Chávez.
