The Astoria Argonauts got a strong performance from pitcher Ricardo Castros, who stymied the Minneapolis offense en route to a 3-2 win at Golden Fleece Park. The Argonauts raised their record to 6-5.

Reynaldo González contributed to the Astoria cause with a productive at-bat in the bottom of the seventh inning. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a run-scoring single, propelling Astoria to the win.

"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Castros said.
