Ch'oe Leads Raiders to Win
The Reno Raiders knocked off the Minneapolis Freeze, 11-4, at House of Pain. Cheol-chung Ch'oe, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Reno won. The first baseman was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Losses have been rare for the Freeze, who are now 6-2.

The Raiders got a big at-bat from left fielder Mao-you Wang. For the game, Wang was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 5th hit of the season gave Reno a 5-4 lead.

"I've been criticized for being a slacker, but the one thing I do care about is winning," Wang told the Reno Today.
