The Vancouver Canadians got production from their entire lineup in an easy 14-3 win over the Omaha Raptors. Player of the game honors went to right fielder Scotty Hudson. Hudson went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Aaron Dilnot picked up the win, improving his season record to 2-0. He struck out 6 in 6.2 innings. With the loss, Omaha sinks to 1-5.

The Vancouver triumph was a team effort. Not least among the contributors was Juan Manuel. In the top of the second, the Vancouver first baseman hit a run-scoring triple. It staked his team to a 1-0 lead.

"We had that killer instinct," Hudson said after the game.
