Víctor Martínez pitched well, but the Antioch Coal Miners still lost the game, falling 1-0 to the Billings Mustangs at Cobb Field. Diego Castro earned the save, his 1st. The win gives Billings a record of 2-2.

The Mustangs beat the Coal Miners in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out double Jung-tae Ko produced in the bottom of the fourth. Batting against Antioch pitcher Víctor Martínez, Ko gave his team a 1-0 lead when he hit a run-scoring double.

"We didn't score," said losing manager Julián Flores. "That was the problem."
