With catcher Nick Robertson leading the charge, the Dallas Texans defeated the Seattle Sasquatch, 5-2, at Sick's Stadium. Robertson, who is a three-time All-Star, went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Dallas starter Nate Gary was credited with the win after throwing 102 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. José Parra recorded the save for Dallas, his 2nd of the season.

Toby Chave had a productive trip to the plate with one out in the top of the fifth inning. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run single, helping Dallas to the win.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Dallas manager Caleb Haley.

The Texans, now 3-0, have been playing some good baseball.
