It was a good time at Horseman Field, where fans came to watch the Fort Worth Cats and Amarillo Horseman get after it.

The exploits of first baseman Ryan Lewry helped the Amarillo Horseman defeat the Fort Worth Cats, 8-2. Lewry went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. Amarillo is now 90-71. Fort Worth is 101-60.

Lewry contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was one of the critical at-bats that helped Amarillo get the win.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Lewry said after the game.
