South Bay Hot Streak Continues with 5-0 Win
|
The winning streak continued for South Bay at Cruz Bay Park.
The South Bay Arsenal got a superb performance from pitcher Lee Barker, who shut out the Mdewanketon Sabercats, 5-0. South Bay has now reeled off 8 straight wins.
A defensive miscue in the bottom of the sixth cost the Sabercats. With South Bay leading 1-0, Ken Boyer reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run. South Bay ended up winning the ballgame.
"We feel like we're going to win every game right now," said South Bay skipper Garfield Christian.
