Wyles Sensational for Jesters
|
Jersey and Portland duked it out at The Royal Court at Jersey Yards and the Jesters came out victorious.
In a well-pitched game between the Jersey Jesters and the Portland Beavers, pitcher Daryl Wyles was fantastic. The Jersey right-hander was named the player of the game in Jersey's 3-0 win. Ron Anderson earned the save for Jersey, his 4th.
Wyles earned the win to move to 3-1. In his 8-inning performance, he scattered 2 hits, striking out 11 and walking 0. The right-hander allowed the Beavers few scoring opportunities.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Wyles said.
With the loss, Portland drops to 11-11.
