The Amarillo Horseman got a magnificent effort from pitcher Wynn Cox, who kept Mdewanketon hitters in check en route to a 2-1 Horseman win at Horseman Field. Amarillo is now 86-67.

Though he did not get the decision, Cox did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 7 innings, until Amarillo eventually rallied past the Sabercats.

"If the personal accolades come, so be it," said Cox. "I just want to win ballgames."
