Buddah Stalin made an impact in the 10-5 Des Moines win over Scranton. Stalin was 1-2 with 3 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Des Moines reliever Daniel Carrasco was credited with the win, to go to 3-5. Rino Nitisastro took the loss for Scranton. Des Moines is in second place in the Kade Stenson League Lou Seal Division with a record of 82-68.
In the bottom of the third, Andreas Ryan Jr. hit a 2-run single for Des Moines. The 2nd hit of the season for the Des Moines left fielder put the Spartans on top, 5-3.
