Tornadoes Come Back Late to Clip Toreros
The Kansas City Tornadoes did just enough to sneak past the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 4-3, at Field de Los Layendas. Kansas City pitcher Mehmood Dar earned player of the game honors. Michael Burton earned the save, his 9th, for the Tornadoes. With the loss, Cabo San Lucas falls to 9-13.

Todd McCarthy made it 4-3 in favor of Kansas City when he delivered a run-scoring double. It came with two out in the top of the ninth. The Tornadoes went on to win.

"I like what I saw today," said Kansas City manager Alex Woods, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
