The Scranton Escape thumped the Amarillo Horseman, 8-2, at Hell Stadium. Octávio Valenzuela was a big reason his team got the win. Valenzuela was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Melvyn Maisonneuve picked up the win, improving his season record to 6-14. He struck out 5 in 5 innings. Huibert van Claveren converted his 2nd save in 7 tries.
