Albuquerque starter Gareth Scholes had a strong outing against the Mdewanketon Sabercats at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. Albuquerque is now 75-75.

When he came to bat in the bottom of the tenth, John Barthe had a chance to end it. Mdewanketon pitcher Shi-fa Wong had other ideas. But with one out, Barthe hit a walk-off run-scoring double. The Cacti had the win.

"To not win that game stings a little bit," said Mdewanketon manager Jerry Russell.
