The Coronado Phantoms got a sterling performance from shortstop Sean Witter, but the Sabercats still prevailed, 5-4. Witter was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He went 2 for 2 with a triple and a walk, while scoring 2 times. Mdewanketon now sits in 6th place in the Kade Stenson League Lou Seal Division at 66-79.
Mdewanketon's win came gift-wrapped. With no one out in the bottom of the ninth, with the game tied, Mitsuhide Umaba reached on an error by the center fielder, driving in 1 run.
