Sepkiechler Stars in Aeropostales Win
In a high-scoring contest between Indian Wells and Mdewanketon, first baseman Terrence Sepkiechler was a difference-maker. Sepkiechler, who is tied for 9th in the KSL with a .402 on-base percentage, earned player of the game honors in the 12-9 Indian Wells win. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 5. Oscar Hackford picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 5-3. Dylan Wright was tagged with the loss. Wayne Penfield closed the door for Indian Wells, picking up his 4th save of the year.

Had Sepkiechler not come through in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have changed. Instead, with two down, Sepkiechler hit a 2-run single. The Aeropostales never looked back after taking the 10-8 lead.

"This game had a little bit of everything," said Sepkiechler.

The Aeropostales now have a record of 87-57 with the win over Mdewanketon.
