In a low-scoring tilt between the Mdewanketon Sabercats and the Fort Worth Cats, Dan Lewis was the difference-maker. The Mdewanketon right-hander earned player of the game honors in the 3-1 win. The win puts the Sabercats at 64-77, while the Cats drop to 90-51.
With a runner on 1st and one out in the bottom of the fourth inning, right fielder Mark Rigden delivered big for the Sabercats. Mdewanketon was leading 1-0 when he belted a 2-run home run.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Fort Worth skipper José Parra, "and it cost us."
