Fort Worth Bats Go Silent in 4-0 Loss

The Fort Worth Cats and Scranton Escape were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd at LaGrave Field.
Scranton right-hander Rino Nitisastro was in fine form, shutting out the Fort Worth Cats, 4-0. Nitisastro went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 2, and struck out 3. His record improves to 4-12.
Bryan Battle played a key role in the win for the Escape. The left fielder punched a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning. For the game, Battle went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager José Parra.
With the win, Scranton has a record of 42-94. Fort Worth falls to 87-49.
