Xiu Hits 2 home runs in Beavers Win
The Portland Beavers defeated the Jersey Jesters, 9-3. Earning player of the game honors was first baseman Lai-hsiang Xiu, who went 3-5 with 2 home runs and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The win pushes Portland to a record of 11-10.

Xiu had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the top of the fifth inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Beavers went on to win.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Portland manager Ryan Blandford.
