Silver Lake rode a good effort from starter Roberto Valentín to beat the Scranton Escape at Ashton Gate. The final score was 4-1. Earning his 24th save for Silver Lake was Dost Ghuman. The Silver Lake winning streak has now reached 5 games.
Parking one for Silver Lake was Tony De La Garza. The third baseman had a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third for the Baristas. It put his team ahead, 3-1, and sent them on to victory. For the game, De La Garza went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
