Baristas Rally For Late Win Over Escape
The Silver Lake Baristas did just enough to secure a 6-5 victory over the Scranton Escape at Ashton Gate. Nobody did more than first baseman Pedro Reyes, who captured player of the game honors. Reliever John Deschamps picked up the win. His record improves to 5-7. Kyung-bok Kim took the loss. The Baristas have now won 4 straight.

Tony De La Garza broke a 5-5 tie in the bottom of the eighth with a run-scoring walk. It put the Baristas in front, 6-5. For the game, De La Garza went 1 for 4 with a double and a walk.

"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Silver Lake manager Chris MacArtney.
