Fans at Bulldog Stadium were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Wichita Wranglers take on the Acapulco Banditos.

The Acapulco Banditos topped the Wichita Wranglers, 11-4, in Kade Stenson League action at Bulldog Stadium. The player of the game was Acapulco first baseman Dave Braun. Acapulco has now won 3 straight, while the Wranglers have lost 5 in a row.

The contest featured some late-game dramatics from Acapulco pinch hitter Juan Ruíz. In the top of the eighth inning, with two out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Ruíz hit a run-scoring single to help Acapulco seize the win.

"Everyone's trying too hard," said losing manager Claudio Rojas. "If we learn to relax, we'll be fine."
